About Shaun Sartin

I am a Glenview, IL based photographer, (north side suburb of Chicago) and available throughout the Chicago area and upper Midwest.

With more than 15 years of experience in newspapers before starting Shaun Sartin Photography LLC in 2009, my newspapers include The Copley Chicago Newspapers in Aurora, IL, Topeka Capital-Journal in Topeka, KS, Naples Daily News in Naples, FL, Florida Times Union in Jacksonville, FL, Saginaw News in Saginaw, MI and The Fargo Forum in North Dakota. Additionally, I served as associate chairperson for Region 5 and a Flying Shortcourse organizer for the National Press Photographers Association. I also participated in the Stan Kalish Picture Editing Workshop, Western Kentucky University’s Mountain Workshop and the NPPA Multimedia Immersion Workshop.

I am a Nebraska native, recently married, motorcycle rider, chef wannabe, dog-walker, VW and Audi enthusiast and former USHL Omaha Lancer goaltender. Also a University of Nebraska-Lincoln graduate with a B.A. in Journalism news-editorial with minors in psychology, history and criminal justice.

My combination of experience, hard work, creativity and dedication allows me to create images my clients embrace.
